LEGACY Fund Grants
We invest in a broad range of nonprofit organizations working to strengthen and improve our home, Clinton County. The LEGACY Fund wants to improve the welfare of Clinton County in areas such as health, wellness, seniors, youth, and education. The LEGACY Fund’s mission is to strengthen Clinton County, Ohio and improve the lives of its citizens through project-based funding. The LEGACY Fund develops our communities through transformative ideas and creative, pioneering programs.
How do you qualify?
LEGACY projects require the grantee organization is a 501 (c) 3 entity, a governmental agency, an educational institution or an organization engaged with a fiscal partner that is one of these three. Organizations must also specifically serve Clinton County, Ohio.
How do you apply?
First, potential applicants will set up a grant applicant account with the Clinton County Foundation grant portal. The grant portal can be accessed by selecting the “Legacy Fund Grant Portal” button below.
Second, the applicant will provide information for the letter of intent. Based on the applicant’s project description and if they meet certain eligibility criteria, the LEGACY Fund board will determine whether the applicant is eligible to apply for a LEGACY Fund grant. If the project is approved, the eligible organization will be invited to apply, where they will then complete a more-detailed final application.

Letters of Intent Period: February 1, 2024 through March 1, 2024
Grant applications are due by June 1, 2024.
